As a very quick verbal tutorial, i would suggest getting a background image of the plants or whatever and a psp image, cut the section of the plants out that cover the psp and layer it so the psp is in the middle of the background and the copied and pasted plant image on top, then make the top layer slightly transparent to finish the effect.
Although if you were designing it from scratch it would be much more complex
